Frequently Asked Questions

1. How are the switch plates created?

They are made of 1st quality maple wood and designed to fit any standard electrical outlet. Once you have chosen the configuration you need and the pattern you'd like to have on it, a line drawing of the outline of that pattern is traced on the wood. I then wood burn the design and fill in all the details. The proper colors are applied and the switch plates are given 3 coats of polyurethane for a durable and washable finish.

2. Can we do custom work?

Yes I can. If you would like to match a pattern from wall paper or fabric I can reproduce something very similar in both color and design. You would need to send colored picture or sample to work from. This would take a bit longer to complete but certainly is possible. Email: for these special requests. Or call(715) 356-7131

3. Can other configurations be special ordered?

Yes they can and that information can be found in the "Ordering Information" section.

4. How long before my order comes?

Since I do not keep finished product in stock, I only start upon receipt for that order. Most of the time you should receive your order in about 2 weeks. If you have a special configuration, it may be necessary to special order that item and when I confirm receipt of your order by e-mail I will also tell you the delivery time.

5. Do you have a return policy?

Yes, I will accept returns on any of the standard configurations shown next to the pattern you have chosen within 30 day of receiving you order, return shipping not included. Special order plates are not returnable.

6. What is the cost of shipping?

The cost for Shipping and Handling 1 switch plate is $6.00 and each additional plate would be an extra $.50.

7. What about confidentiality of personal information?

We use a very secure server by PayPal or you may send your personal check, in that case your order will be started upon the check clearing the bank. Your credit card may be used through the PayPal system, even if you don't have a PayPal account.
